2019 Trek X-Caliber 8 hardtail in gravel gray (medium frame) with over $700 of upgrades.

    Colorado Springs

    Asking $1000

    [REDUCED: now asking $800]

Bike rides smooth and has been great. Purchased in May 2019. Looking to move on to an Evil Wreckoning. Converted to 1by drivetrain last month. Climbs like a champ and shifts are smooth as butter. Front derailleur and shifter currently removed but I kept the cable housing for a future dropper post upgrade as well as the old drivetrain components.

Bike has a couple chips related to normal XC biking with most of it on the drive-side chain stay due to chain slap. Bike will have tune-up from Trek authorized dealer before delivery.

    Current upgrades (appx value):

    - converted to 1by drivetrain ($280)

    —- RaceFace 30T chain ring ($50)

    —- SunRace 11-42T 10sp cassette($50)

    —- Shimano XT M8000 GS 11sp rear derailleur limited for 10sp ($80)

    —- New KMD chain ($20)

—- eThirteen chain guide and bash guard ($80)

    - Upgraded brake rotors

    —- 180mm IceTech rotors with pads ($100)

—- Shimano caliper adapter brackets ($10)

    - Full tubeless conversion

—- Maxxis Minion DHF 2.3 (front/rear) (no pits or missing chunks from tread; only used for a couple rides) ($170)

    - Odi Pro lock-on grips (gray) ($50)

    - RaceFace Chester composite flat pedals ($50)

    - Blendr stem GoPro Mount ($20)

    Other stuff of note:

    - medium aluminum frame

    - 29er wheelset

    - Shimano hydraulic disc brakes

    - water bottle cage

    Reduced asking price to $800.

that’s a whole lot of bike for not a lot of cash.

I just bought a Hardtail this year but if I didn't I'd be eyeing this... esp with those upgrades...
