I would guess the Tacoma will follow the 19 4Runner, think l read price went up $200 for all models other than the Pro which went up $3300 but that is due to added features and equipment not any temporary tarrifs.

But you’d be buying a 20 year old design, brand new off the lot. That could be good for some, bad for others. Most don’t want a truck as dated as the frontier.

Don't get me wrong, I love Tacoma's. But in the new market, I just don't see how a newer design and some minor tech (remember were talking about the base model here) can justify spending the same amount as a fully loaded 4x4 v6 truck. To further show my point, you can spend 7000$ less and get the SV model with v6 and 4x4 with the crew cab and chrome package. So once again, a base 2x4 4cyl truck vs the 4x4 v6 with colour match, or chrome bumpers for 7000$ less.

I say spend whatever you can afford on whatever you feel is the best use of your money, and makes you happy. For me, the Taco is just worth it.

I was just going to say they should sell the over priced Tacomas at the apple store. The apple store is still a thing isn't it?

I watched a video on YouTube the other day, there was quite a bit of new stuff which was mainly suspension and tires if I recall correctly. For the 4Runner being a little long in the tooth they seem to be doing a great job with it.

Yea i saw changes in suspension for the 4runner and tundra but none for the tacoma
Besides the desert breather and JBL system.

Right, I would not expect too big of a price increase on the Tacoma

It's better than the 2nd gen system in my opinion.

Don't forget the red TRD lettering on the skid plate! That's gotta be worth $1000.

The US just made a deal with Mexico on NAFTA, so there won't be any changes in production costs. Parts may be different, but I haven't noticed many Chinese parts on my OR.

And you have a beautiful TRD Pro Cavalry Blue. I'm getting a white Pro because I live in the desert, and my art historian wife argued against it, and I'm not that particular.

I want to buy, but my current truck won't sell unless I give it away. There's no market for Tacomas in ND.

It would also be my luck I'd buy a 2019 and in 2020 rear discs will be added

Another thing is when you go to sell your Frontier, that you drove off the lot, you are going to take a huge bath on the resale. Way more than the Taco.

Besides, and this is just my opinion, Nissans are junk vehicles. I owned an Altima that was a complete crap car both in quality and design. It forever coloured my opinion of just how shitty a Japanese vehicle could be. The 5 Toyota’s I’ve owned over the last 30 years have all been solid vehicles. Sold the first three when they were still in great condition (my Corrolla with 400k miles on it), still own the other two. Would never buy another Nissan.

I was watching business news this week and not only was the Mexico part of NAFTA almost done but there was also a new trade agreement worked out with Japan so that should about cover our Trucks.

Looks like the same as the Subaru WR blue. I like this color a lot. Maybe not on a bigger truck.. this and gold or bronze wheels will look bad ass. I still prefer my cement
