I know there might not be enough miles on 2020 TRD OR Tacos but was curious if you owners were seeing any kind of duplicate issues as the 2019.

Example ... my 2019 had the following by 23,000 miles.
    - fuel pump replaced
    - V belt replace
    - Idle pulley replaced
    - CV boot passenger side replaced
    - still had engine noise after all of that.

Thinking of getting a 2020 TRD sport or off-road.

I'm at 10k on my 2020 Off Road, purchased in February. Been camping a bunch because of the Rona, no issues so far other than the damn hood vibration BS. I've also taken it wheeling and have definitely used the front skid plate, but still no other issues.

Nothing is changed. All the same parts. So you might have the same problems or you might not. A crap shoot really.

These things aren’t as bullet proof as older tacos. I’ve had several issues with mine. Noticed a belt/pulley noise the other day, hopefully just needs a new belt. I’m out of factory warranty now. Still have an extended that I bought. Might be a good time for me to dump this thing though

I had none of those issues on my 18. In fact i have none of the "TW issues" except for the slight diff hum at 60-65 which you can barely hear.

I guess you just got unlucky. IMO buying toyota is still better than any other manufacturer. Good luck.

That is what I took mine in for a few weeks ago ... after they replaced all of that I listed, I could still here the noise while they were telling me it was fixed. I walked to the other end of the dealership found my salesman friend and sold it to them on the spot. It really is a crap shoot ... may keep what I have.

One thing to check on the 2020 is if the crawl control works.
