Traded in my 2016 for the 2020. I absolutely love it. Best decision ever!

I currently have Gen 2 TRD sport and it's relatively enjoyable to drive around town. I rented a '19 TRD OR sometime last year and it was noticeably less peppy but not horrible. I was actually looking forward to driving my Gen2 again. However, this was without using the ECT PWR Button and certainly without OVTune.

That being said, I am about to trade my trusty Gen 2 on a new Gen 3 because after researching all other manufacturers and comparing price, available aftermarket upgrades and reliability, Tacoma still came out on top.

I have a 2019 off road AT with 17 k miles and love it. I still can’t understand what people expect.
It’s a Truck and rides a feels as such.
    A) It’s heavy and gas mileage will be marginal
    B) It’s rides high and handling will be just ok
    C) big tires = bad gas mileage
    D) Old School design = less problems
    E) legendary following and name = great resale

Not to mention it looks great .
It’s not a sports car so who cares if it’s fast
Any thing you buy today will have negatives and positives / roll with it. I love that it’s old school. I wouldn’t want a Turbo charged 4 cylinder,or any other hunk of junk that will give me problems when the mileage gets high.
I plan on keeping mine a long time.
    Just my 2 cents
