Can anyone with a 2020+ (maybe 2019?) help me out with getting the dimensions of the cutout in the bed for the OEM cargo lights? I'm trying to retrofit them into my 2nd gen, and I think everything will work fine except I have no existing cutouts, so I need to do some cutting.

The lights I'm getting look like this:

And the cutout I'm looking for dimensions on looks like this:

Shape is simple enough, but I just need the dimensions for the red, green, orange and blue lines. I'd appreciate the help if someone can measure their's!

    Cheers,
    Jeff

Your big problem is not the cutouts; it's going to be the wiring.

I would think he would know how he's going to wire it

I wanted to wire it up just like the OEM 3rd gens with the 3-position switch, but I think I’m going with a simple on/off in the cab. From what I’ve read on threads regarding connecting cargo lights to the dome light, it can be wired with a constant hot and switched ground. From my limited courses in EE 10+ years ago, I don't think it matters whether I switch the hot or ground, and these lights will end up on a circuit of their own. Not terribly difficult but I’m also going to try it all out on the bench top before installing anything into the truck. I will need to figure out how big of a fuse I need to protect the lights.

Change the interior illumination bulbs to LED's so as not to overload the dimming circuit, that goes the same for the original fuse of the illumination circuit.

To answer your original question, the dimensions of the cutout are as follows:

Length including the notch at the bottom (green line in your picture): 118 mm
Length of main body (blue line): 110 mm
Main width (red line): 40 mm
Width of notch (orange line): 20 mm

These were taken from the blanking plate that I removed from my truck when installing the bed lights.
