    In the last few weeks my hospital system has gone from near empty to nearly full census. While that’s not all due to increased COVID cases our ICU beds have been consistently full and we are starting to use our overflow units. We’ve stopped accepting transfers from Imperial County all while we are still having problems procuring Proper PPE for our Nurses and Physicians, and many of our other operations are using alternatives.
    Two of my direct coworkers have COVID symptoms with one confirmed positive putting all of us on increased self quarantined status outside of work. I’m not a Newsome fan myself, but it seems like a prudent action from my side of situation.
    Stay safe out there! Wash your hands often, hopefully an effective vaccine is close and some of the experimental medications and treatment methods pan out.
