Yeah I hope that shit shuts down. Or at least has the option to remove cause that's pretty horrible looking imo.

If Tacoma's had roll bars ala bttf pickup they'd be cooler. But then Toyota would really fuck up considering they were forgetting to fill transmissions. They probably would forget to add oil to the engine.

Exactly, the US Ranger is not going to look like the Global one.

I'm not convinced that the Bronco will even be available as a 2-door. Face it, things like that don't sell in big numbers. And automakers have to think long term -- in 10 -15 years I don't see a lot of people still in love with inefficient gas-powered niche trucks.

I just want Ford to build a Jeep Wrangler killer. Why is this so hard to ask for?

Give it time. I've had two elockers fail, rear axle rust though so it had to be replaced, entire exhaust rusted, every bolt is shot making it a pain to do any work.

Oh and don't forget about 25 years of frames that rusted through.

But yea Tacomas are completely flawless

The one with the rollbar is the "Wildtrak" trim. The Raptor doesn't have it.

If the Bronco revival looks like anything other than the cock tease photos it's a fail. That mule is so forgettable looking. Lame

See the issue? Your ford had problems and that's why you switched. My toyota has been nickel and diming me for the last 10 years with stupid shit (plus the whole rust issue) and that's why I'm switching.

Realistically they are both good brands, it's just in a sample of 1 they aren't.

I had a GEN1 Tacoma and live in the Rust belt area of the NE and they had a recall for a free rust proofing undercoat from Toyota and I never had a rust issue at all with the frame, probably the best truck I ever owned I traded it in and got $9000 for it with 260k miles on the ODO, had 3 timing belts, charcoal canister, tires, brakes, routine maintanence and the truck never failed me. before this I had a Ford F150 XLT 351w that would go to the mechanics on a almost weekly basis for front end violent shimmies,a clutch that would not stay in adjustment on and on, Ford trucks are money pits and you will have to trade them in every 30k to keep driving cause they usually wont make it 50-60k miles.

Ah there's your problem. Comparing mid 90s Ford to today. Completely different company.

after the horrible experience with Fords and the great experiences with Toyota trucks(ive had 4 all excellent) its a no brainer that Toyota builds the best quality trucks on the road IMO, going back and buying another Ford is like shooting yourself in the foot and emptying out your wallet in repair bills.

That is your opinion of which you're entitled to, however; there are some people here who are generally ready to give Ford a try or waiting to see how these new vehicles match up.
