A little extreme, but I know the feeling. I wish there would be a US team, but I think NASCAR and other racing has taken most of the US manufacturer's attention. One could always hope.....

anyone got a better way to watch f1, I had to buy stupid f1tv and watch it on my lap top and them hardwire mirror it onto my tv. I am low tech and for some reason I think f1tv should be able to be watched on TV! Assuming the season isn't canceled have they signed up with Apple, Amazon, Netflix Someone? There has to be a better way, FYI since I dropped cable!

 

doesn't NBCSN still have US rights? if so, then that's your unfortunate ticket in the US w/o jumping through hoops. like the one you're jumping through now, F1TV. that shit did not work for me and i'm tech savvy. i literally pay for annual cable TV for F1. that's the only thing i watch on cable.

 

They do not. Lost them to ESPN last year. I think ESPN still has them this year.

 

NO! I cant have cable! I m tired of getting screwed over on that shit. I don't have cable and my cable/internet/telephone bill is still almost $200 a month! I used to program my vcr and tape the races and Q them the DVR years and now the stupid app! Still its called F1TV and it cant be watched on TV! I bet Bernie is laughing at that one!

 

Can't you get Apple TV and stream F1 through that on your tv ?

You could get Sling orange for $20 a month. I don't think you get ESPN news unless you pay an extra $10 so those races you can't watch live and have to watch the re-run later in the day.

 

hulu has f1 channels on it and I think redbull tv is free but it kind of only follows the redbull cars

 

I signed up for F1tv and can steam it from my android phone to a chrome cast on my TV. For some reason I can’t just screencast directly to the TV like other apps and when using my iPad it won’t let me apple play mirror it like other video streams. It’s a little frustrating and awkward but $25 for F1tv is a lot cheaper than paying for a cable package that includes F1.
