Any tips or tricks for running speaker wire into the front doors? Specifically drivers side. I don’t remember my 2016 being this much of a b!tch

I pulled the rubber protector off the door side but for the life of me could not get it off truck side. Do I just keep fighting it? Do I need to unplug everything on the inside first? Tried like hell to no avail. Was getting too frustrated and was worried I was going to do something stupid! The knife was in my hand...

    thanks

I used a long zip tie and some patience.. Also if you compress the door boot it makes it considerably easier.. I ran 12 gauge through it and it was tight,, but it made it.

    Thanks Jim,

after a break and with a clearer mind, I was able to get the boot off the truck side. I had to unplugged the 3 plugs that feed into the door to get enough slack. Took a small section of coat hanger wire, put an electrical tape lead on it and gave it a bit of lube. Was able to squirm it through and then fish the wire.

@Russtty Steve.. that was also something I forgot to tell you.. I also used some lithium grease to help push it through. Glad you got it sorted out.
