According to the Toyota website a sport truck can be ordered with LED headlights

Thanks again for the suggestions. To be clear - this is a truck that is on the lot, it is a TRD Sport Premium (leather, sunroof, etc) which is what I wanted. They want to get rid of it, so they are giving me a great deal (better than what I could afford if I ordered and waited for the same truck WITH LEDs) and when I asked if they could add them before I purchased it they said they couldn't. This is why I am looking to add them after.

So while I appreciate the suggestion to wait and order exactly what I want, unfortunately finances are dictating that I get this truck and add to it as I go - or alternatively I don't get the truck :).

This is where your negotiation skills come into play. Tell them you were only considering purchasing a Tacoma with the LED headlight option and that the lights are a dealbreaker. See if they will split the cost of purchasing the headlights with you to make a sale ($1,340 a pair online). My last option would see if they could order you a set at cost, about $667 each minus 10%.

....so in an interesting tun of events, it turns out the truck already has LEDs (not sure how I or the sales guy missed it!).

....on to the fender flares/bumper valance. Any options for matte black flares like the TRD Pro/Off road?
