Basically just saving myself having to go to a dealership and suffer through a salesperson to get an answer but, does anyone know which 2020 Tacomas in Canada have the LED headlights? I'm looking at the sport premium DCLB auto and it only says led daytime running lamps. It lists LED headlamps for the TRD pro but I don't see it anywhere else. I have the LEDs on my rav and they're great so I'd like to get them on the new Tacoma.

Only the Limited and Pro get the redesigned full led headlight in Canada. Not even an option for every other trim level.

Yeah I was a bit disappointed, but it wasn't really a deal-breaker to me.

Interesting. Another member who resides in Canada claims you can’t purchase long bed Tacoma’s.

In fact, DCLB is the only configuration you can get on a sport around these parts

Toyota doesn’t sell a long bed with a MT either in the USA. The demand is there, must be a technical or marketing reason behind the decision.

Probably just don’t want to build another different length rear driveshaft.

The driveshaft is 2-piece which means the front half changes with the transmission and the rear half changes with the diff size. The parts to make a MT DCLB probably exist on the shelf. Even if not, Toyota makes so many parts variations for way smaller differences. Getting the right length drive shaft would be letting Spicer know to send them. There is another (marketing or engineering) reason they don’t offer the DCLB MT.

As far as the original question goes, it looks like LED headlights are only offered on the TRD Pro and Limited in Canada as was previously stated.

Toyota must have a bunch of leftover 2019 headlights laying around so us Canadians get the shaft. All TRD models in the US have an option for Led fog lights and headlights. Come on Toyota!!!!

Toyota doesn't have left over parts during production. They order the exact number they need, as they need them. The reason certain vehicles have or don't have an option is usually down to the product engineering and marketing guys. Costs vs. profits, etc. Canada is a smaller market with less trucks sold, so we get fewer packages and less ways to configure our trucks, decided by the product guys. It's occasionally pretty lame.

They would be a lot nicer without the Branding Letters on them, but i guess people want that.
