Just be patient I guess. Not much else can be done.

Not sure Toyota has really ramped up the 2020's yet anyways.

Only Tailgate Inserts and Window Tint/Decals for now
The 2020’s are literally just now starting to touch ground. To put it in perspective I just checked inventory within a 500 mile radius of me dealership and there are only 43 2020 Pro’s (AT) on the ground with the oldest one only being in stock 14 days (most of them are single digit days in stock).

The dealership I got mine from told me it was a $6k markup. I just said no. Told them I was willing to pay msrp but not more. They agreed and sold it to me that day (first day on the lot). If they can get away with it, and I'm sure they will, some dealerships will probably charge 10k markup. But I think most dealers want to sell, and if you're ready to buy you can probably talk most of them out of the markup.

There are a few starting to hit here and there.

But $10k markups.... Yew. Don't see that in St. Louis lol. Although I have seen a fair share of "dealership editions" where they bro out an SR5 and then try to make people think it's work $5k over. Bleah

No new 20s on eBay, just checked. But some guy is trying to sell his 17 with 20k miles for 48! Claims he put 20k into in, including a 2500 dollar boring ass front bumper. It's all comes back to what one person will pay....

Thanks man. I had a forum member here do some searching for me. Doesn't look good for the MT for me in my area, at least right now.

Might just scrap the idea and wait for the AG in MT in a TRD Sport or OR in 2021. I'm not NEEDING a new truck right now and mine is paid for. Just WANTED to have the PRO in that color.

We'll see what happens early part of next year.

Ordered an MGM Pro yesterday, they wouldn't budge from msrp on the truck or the accessories I added.
    Was told 8-12 weeks.

S&S if I could ask a question plz.
I was told when I ordered yesterday that they, the dealer, would "preference" my truck which I was told meant they would order it but I wasn't convinced.
So is preference just the term used by dealers for an order? Or is preference just that, they get preference on the next run of mgm's over those waiting for their allotments? TIA!

I had a hard time passing on the AG due to the rare color, but after seeing the MGM next to it I knew it was the MGM for me.

We used an inventory system called Dealer Daily and within DD there is section called Preference Request. We have to go in for each model of vehicle and build a list of what trim level, color and equipment we want for our inventory. Each list can be hundreds of vehicles long, but we put them in numerical order of importance. If we have a sold order we need to submit, we will put that customers vehicle at the top of the list letting the system know that’s the most important configuration of that vehicle we want. Along with that we will also let our Toyota District Manager know of any sold orders we have to help increase the likelihood we will get it on the next allocation. I’ve been told in the past by District Managers that because of the limited production of Pro models we can’t technically order them. Your store has to naturally earn one based on sales history and volume. Once the store earns one the District Manager will help make sure it is the color and transmission the store needs to fulfill their customers order.

This is great info thx for taking the time to explain it in detail, appreciate it!! This also confirms what I was told by the first dealer I went to about them not being able order a Pro,

One more Q if I may. In your experience whats the average time for a preferenced vehicle to be allotted/delivered? I was told 8-12 weeks.

For regular orders I typically tell people 6-8 weeks, but with the uncertainty of when they will get your Pro on allocation the added time seems realistic.
