still hard to believe Ford is selling about 1/2 as many Rangers, I'm on the road daily and I 'might' see 1 a day.

I'm seeing more Rangers on the road. Wow, Nissan got decimated. I guess they didn't get the memo that it's time for a serious update

There's an all new Frontier coming out in 2 weeks. So I think they got it.

Good to hear, I did not know that. A friend of mine just got a good deal on a new one yesterday.I guess that explains that. And he's coming off a life long line of F-150's.

I see at least 1 new Ranger a day here or it could be the same one I work nights but if I had a quarter for each Taco I see I could retire.

Nearly half of all mid-size trucks sold are Tacoma. How many you see depends on where you live. Here in northern Indiana I probably see 3 to 4 times as many new other brands as opposed to new Tacoma.

Interestingly, Frontier sales were cut in half from 2019. I guess half the prospective customers didn't feel like paying $8000 extra for the new 3.8L engine...

The data doesn't lie, though. That we don't see that many Rangers doesn't mean those numbers are not true. I am in NY, so a bad sample size but I only see Tacoma Sports and Rangers.

That said, if I am Ford, I'm pleased with these numbers. I have a relatively new product and I am already at 100K in sales. They have to be thinking that they have a lot to build on. Also really surprised at how well the Gladiator is doing ... slow but steady growth. And, if I am Nissan I have to feel good about this. I haven't updated my efforts in 10 years and I am still selling. They have to think with a little effort they can easily get to 100k units.

    Thanks for sharing ...

Gladiator will sell - until people realize they now own a Jeep product and things like The Dash wiring, headliner, AC compressor, transfer case, etc. etc. start flaking out in two or three years. For their sake I hope these are all leased vehicles.

As a previous jeep owner, Just saying ...

But isn't that the story of all Jeeps ... and yet they keep selling and they hold their value. I will never understand it. :)

Agree with you. For me I think its demographic and geography.

We would not see many Fords here (people here think American cars lower their property value). But once Raptor was out - you would see Raptor/Range Rover/Gwaggen in same driveway.

I see about 10 Tacomas, to 6 F150s to 2 Frontiers, to 1 Ranger a day. Of course a billion Wranglers.

I hardly see GMC Midsize or Titans around here.
