I think both handle business. Maybe not in 2020... but going forward I think we see Roush get back to top tier racing. We saw a preview last year with Newman. He actually had some good races.

Same here. But now it's gonna be called the Nascar cup series. And I've been calling it that ever since it stopped being Winston Cup.

Didn’t realize it wasn’t just NASCAR, BUSCH or Trucks racing. Well I did but wouldn’t acknowledge it.

I hope it isn't a sign of a downturn. With the new car coming I'm not seeing more investments, I'm seeing less. But I guess with all the crack they smoke at nascar HQ and spitting in the fanbase they have I don't blame companies

Oh it is a downturn... more and more people are turning off their product squarely due to the decisions they have made over the last couple decades.

They're basically trying to turn a motorsport into a quasi gamer like experience... hoping to appeal to the younger generation in the millennial mindset. They do this instead of catering to the longtime traditionalist who believe it or not have kids and might want to show them the experience to. But we're getting turned off from the sport because they're forgetting about us.

It's their own damn fault. Yes... It started with the removal of Winston sponsorship but it got even crazier when they wanted to create this Chase format and then turn it into basically a laughingstock.

A championship should be based off the culmative result of a full season. But now all you have to do is win at certain times and you can become the champion.

And let's be honest guys... The race day experience is not even close to being the same as it was. I grew up going to Talladega and Daytona in the 90s. I went to Atlanta in 2009 and was sorely disappointed. It's all just a money grab.

I became an Ernie irvan fan because he personally took time and engaged with me. I couldn't even get a driver to wave at me...

That my friends is what's causing the downturn.

I actually liked his dad... being a Florida boy... but Cole is gonna crush this entire field. He has the best trajectory by far.

I'm a 21 fan now specifically because what Matty D did in that ride last year... it is JGR affiliated... but it was a generation behind the big 4's

41 is SHR top notch equipment. The same stuff washed up Kurt drove to victories. Suarez is just not that great imho. He came up waaaaay too early. Cole did his time.

Not that I've read or heard. I know RCR is interested in putting him in a Xfinity car next year.

I don't think he's washed up, he took the 1 to victory lane... Jamie Mac wasn't doing that

    I miss N. Wilkesboro.

That was always a fun race to watch.
