The last exciting finish I recall was Blaney's first win in 2017 when he put the bumper to Harvick in the closing laps. I miss when they used to have to shift gears around the track.

Pocono looked really great in the twilight hours. I’m not usually a fan of later start dates, but it looked really good on the TV screen.

idk since the hiatus from racing the coverage over all seems better IMHO since talladega I have been thinking this.

I know I'm arguably not all there but perhaps I am not the only one who thinks they noticed a change lol

are the cameras and angles shooting the footage looking better over all??

could also just be my eyes appreciating it more after not having it on the regular...

During the Xfinity race at the Brickyard today they did mention Justin Allgaier as the driver to take over once Jimmy Johnson retires at the end of this season

Boring, race day. This is one of the most boring tracks they run.

    :boom: boring?

a road course every now and then is good, i hope it rains because that adds an aspect we dont typically get, seems like only a 10% chance for rain though...

I've seen a lot of confusion online with people thinking Cup is running the Indy road course. Yesterday's race had a great finish. Not the most exciting layout, but it is a proven route. I wouldn't mind seeing Cup run the infield. While I'm a fan of more road circuits, I think street racing Cup cars is a near-terrible idea.

damn well so much for my hopeful thinking, i totally assumed it would be road course today... :anonymous::annoyed:

i just like the diversity, lol :anonymous:, a couple road courses a year would add a lot of excitement....

anyone remember the davey allison ricky rudd race at sonoma??

I would also like to see the IROC race make a come back... I enjoy when pilots from all different disciplines come together and duke it out... The last few years of IROC became an oval nascar drivers race but the history of IROC was far from that.
