I get it, I do. The meme wasn’t a political dig. It was a follow up to support the discussion on door & sponsor location. A divisive topic no doubt. Sure to ruffle feathers.

Edit: I have no beef, political or otherwise with anyone in this thread.

Years ago I was at a small short track and Harry was there racing . A competitor flipped his car upside down and Harry stopped his car by it and checked on the guy while everyone else kept going around under caution . I was impressed .

99% chance a ford wins today. But I’ll pick #MK42

Boy were we all wrong there...

Crazy finish. Pissed me off too. My boy was running 4th before last pit cycle.

Dillon gets another right place right time win.

    Sigh.

Wild stuff. This morning I learned that Childress made that last pit call for both drivers, over the crew chiefs. Apparently RCR (and probably other top teams) have been using AI to strategize in-race. Makes sense, given all the moving parts in a 500-mile race and modern access to data. I don't like it, but it was to be expected. One more thing that takes the fun part out of the team's hands.

I am really liking this no practice stuff. Certainly cuts down on supply costs and we're starting to see Comers and Goers in the race again. Reddick was up, then down, then with a few key calls late in the race, he was right up front there at the end. I am seeing some neat calls in the pit boxes, too.

It got pretty close at the end . But the same contenders were there. Hamlin , Keslowski and Harvick. Truex tried to get back in it.

Harvick showed up at the end and checked out. It was wild how Hamlin’s car came alive after 8 or so laps. He passed Harvick with ease. Brad’s car was getting better at the end, too. Reeled in Denny from .8 back to .2 in a matter of 2-3 laps before he couldn’t get any more advantage and backed off, settling for 2nd. What happened you Blaney? I was asleep for awhile. He was leading when I nodded off and a lap down when I woke up.
