I actually do not have a problem with a team telling cars they own to fall back or not to pass. That’s just strategy, when they cause a caution or wreck someone I do not agree with that. As long as it stays within the team they should be able to do whatever they want with cars they own. No different than riding around half a lap down at a super speedway.

Could you imagine the outrage if the 14 and 10 just pulled over and let the 4 pass

Hendrick did that for Johnson one year and there was no penalty. The same year he only needed to finish 35th or better to win the championship.

This is how I follow most races. I picked up Youtube TV for this season when COVID hit. They jacked up the price to $65 and I happily canceled this month. Eli Gold is still calling Alabama football games but he lost his MRN gig for sliding into some young interns DMs and getting creepy toward her.

I wasn't happy when they jacked up the price. I've had them for 3 years. I know they're always adding channels, but it used to be that they had the channels Sling had in their premium packages, but for $35 a month. I lost FSN, but at least I have BET now...

I flipped my calendar to November and it just so happens to be the #2 and the fast fact says "2012 Monster Energy Nascar Cup Series Champion". I have a feeling this is an omen.

Did you replace YouTubetv with another service? I’m not happy that they jacked the price up either.

Nope. I have Spectrum internet and can tack on TV which adds $34. I'm just gonna revert to the radio or meeting up at friend's houses to watch the big races.

    Alright, boys,
Here are the last track stats for 2020. Best of luck if you're putting money down on a winner. Keselowski and Hamlin appear to be the prime contenders for the championship. This looks like Denny's championship to lose. Keselowski has quietly placed himself in the final 4 and his Phoenix numbers are comparable to Hamlin's. Joey will be out for blood. His numbers here are checkers or wreckers. He's a good heel and will certainly be putting pressure on anyone in front of him on Sunday. Elliott is the dark horse contender here. We'll see if he can do like his pop and win the Cup in the same season as the Dodgers' and Lakers' championships. Elliott starts on pole with Joey to his outside. Hold on tight!

    Manufacturer Wins:
    Chevrolet- 10
    Toyota- 6
    Ford- 5

    Driver Wins:
    Harvick- 7
    Newman- 2
    Hamlin- 2
    Logano -2
    Kyle Busch- 2
    Kenseth- 1

    Top Avg Finish:
    Harvick- 8.97
    Johnson- 10.38
    Ky Busch- 10.5
    Hamlin- 11.27
    Elliott- 13
    Keselowski- 13.5
    Ku Busch- 13.66
    Logano- 14.35
    Byron- 14.4
    Almirola- 14.89

Avg. Finish over the past three years:
    Ky Busch-2.71
    Harvick-4.71
    Almirola-10.14
    Truex-10.43
    Keselowski-11.14
    Newman-12.17
    Hamlin-12.57
    Bowyer-13
    Elliott-14.29
    Byron-14.4

I'll be rooting for anyone but Elliott, I think. Don't much care for the #2 or #22 either, but I'll taken them over the #9.

I feel so weird saying this because I haven't rooted for him since his rookie year and I've never rooted for a Toyota driver, but I think Hamlin has matured into a good ambassador for the sport. He really threw some tantrums earlier in his career, and he let Joey get under his skin, which led to a stale rivalry. Recently (the past two-three years), he's really risen to a higher level. He usually flies under the radar, doesn't offer many soundbites, shows up, and gets the job done for his team. Now, in his partnership with MJ, he's showing he wants to further the sport by investing back into it. There's a shortlist of drivers who have done this: Harvick, Keselowski, Stewart, and their efforts have certainly impacted modern NASCAR on varying levels. If Denny doesn't get a Cup, he joins Mark Martin as one of the greats who never checked that boxed.

Hoping the 9 wins it, but if he can't, the 2 will be fine. I can't stand the 11 or 22.
