Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
    My '21 doesn't have an AUX jack. I'm 100% Bluetooth/Android Auto.

Is there a cord with a 3.5mm jack on one end and USB on the other?

I’d say that it probably is. You’ll just have to check and see.

I was asking rhetorically on behalf of those who still play CDs and might want to try and run a Discman through a USB port.

As I stated earlier, I'm all Spotify, Bluetooth and Android Audio now.

The whole key aspect, in Toyota and their EnTune, they want you to connect your phone to your (their) system.
It's not about your convenience, it's about theirs, and your having to rely and comply on what they give you.

If you don't mind being controlled, carry on. Adapt. Technology and conveniences change people, make them more acceptable.

If you don't like being led by the dangling carrot, change it.

The 2020 Toyota's have no Aux jack. I have an old computer multi format disc drive that runs off a USB cable and will try it. Still interested in finding the best portable player.

This sounds like way too much work for what it’s worth. Rip CDs in any format and sync to an iPhone or Android. Done.

The USB port is your 'Aux Jack'.
You need a CD Player with USB connectivity, which most do have nowadays.
Plug the CD Player into the USB Port, select 'USB' as the source on the Entune screen, and you're 'good-to-go'.

Yeah, me too now. I haven't used a CD in years. It's nice not having to search for music to take on trips, because in one way or another, I have it.

Are you one of those conspiracy theorists?

you can use the radio and not use EnTune. My wife has for almost 5 years in her RAV4. I also don’t use it, I just use Apple Car play and go. These radios support both Apple and Android.
How are they controlling you? If you’re that unhappy with it, swap out the head unit. All car makers have their own system, and you don’t have to use it.

I have Apple Music now and I couldn’t agree with you more. So many times back in the day, I took about 20-40 cds (that took a lot of room) and realized I was in the mood for something I don’t have. It’s also nice not having worry about scratching up a Cd by accident too.

It's also nice to not have to take your eyes off the road flipping through a CD holder and fumbling around with changing them out while doing 75mph.

    Simple as that now.....
