The club hasn't gone in yet. They partner with USFS to determine when its dry enough to go in and what work needs to be done. With COVID the trail may not open at all.

Wow. Back in the late 70's three friends and I backpacked into Barrett Lake. There was still a bit of snow on the ground so that's why we didn't see anyone. It was June, if I remember correctly. Climbed a nearby Peak. Can't remember which one. Always wanted to go back. I'm told the Taco probably isn't a good rig to take.

I ran the first mile or so last year, I probably wouldn’t do it again. Dropped down my skids a few times pretty hard.

We did good. Got a late start. I was hopi g to get to the water crossing. But we had to get back for dinner. I had izzy hitting his head on the headliner :burnrubber:

On the way back i bet him that i would get a 20 minute lead on the guys. Well i played around on driveline hill and killed too much time. @Speedo was 10 min behind me. The others were right behind. I owe izzy call of duty 3 now. Little shit. Lol

lol, good to hear I wasn't the only one banging their head on the headliner. Poe got the worst of it though, she got launched into the dash quite a few times.

I wouldn't. Minimum 35's with a rear locker. Trail has what is called a "Gate Keeper" with in the first 100 yards of the gate. If you cannot get thru it by yourself, it is advised no to go any further.

I ran the entire Rubicon in the Taco last year. But I only have 34's. Do have a rear locker. But I've heard there are some really tough spots.
