Yep, hes showing off the orange underside to show he is poisonous. Only 1 species of garter snake has evolved to eat them. Everything else throws them up or dies. A frat student died from swallowing one as a dare.

Where have you guys been wheeling/camping lately? I went to Tahoe last weekend but all of the offroad trails were still closed as far as I could tell.

Lady friend and I were planned on heading into stanislaus this weekend but plans changed when we saw the weather forecast. In a last second effort to do something, we headed down to bass lake area for some camping and hiking. Found some wheeling too which was a nice surprise. Will definitely be back to this area. First trip with the new diffs, lockers, and tires and happy to say everything worked as it should. But need more clearancing

No, the one in the back is afraid of everything (rescue that wasn't socialized at all) but the one up front might be at least decent at it with some training. He'll retrieve anything, points at birds squirrels and whatever else is around, and likes to get dirty,

Has anyone been up to the 7N09 area of Stanislaus NF lately? I'm wondering if it's open and what the conditions are like.
