My the drls on my oem headlights only work on the “auto” mode. If I turn my headlights on they turn off. If I turn the fog lights on, they turn off.
At first I was suspecting a burnt out fuse but since they work on the auto mode I’m thinking it’s something else.
They’re the eom 2020 led headlights connected with a wiring harness to make them work since my Tacoma had the standard halogens from the factory.
Do you guys have any ideas ?

The dim (pink maybe?) wire probably got chewed by a mouse? Could be a fuse too I guess. Visual inspection?

Would that also affect the side and bottom marker lights too? I just noticed those don’t come on with the headlights?

Could definitely be a wiring / adapter issue.

What adapter harness did you use? Have you ever observed the DRL working with headlights? If your headlights auto turn on, do the DRL's stay on?

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
My '21 TRD OR AC LED DRLs only work in the auto position. Toyota uses 3 different switch stalks for lights - which one your truck has (I guess) depends on the trim level. This is somewhat explained in the Owner's Manual. BTW, my headlights are NOT OEM LED.

So your stalk doesn't have a DRL setting? Mine go into a dimmed setting when the headlights or fogs are on

I believe they are designed that way.
