We looking at the same cooler box? It is expensive, but not $500 expensive. I found some dealers sell it for $300ish.

I just looked it up on the Toyota parts site. It was $462 plus I assume it would have pretty high shipping costs being that big. Maybe one of the discount sites you could get it cheaper, or if you have a dealer that sells them for that price you could order in and not have to pay shipping which would be nice?

Is that one of the fancy Yeti coolers, or an equivalent? If so, is that close to what they go for at normal retail pricing for one that size?

The ones I checked where from mcgeorge and oempartsdeal. I did not process all the way to see the shipping price though.

It is most likely a 3rd party cooler with a Toyota stamp on it. Yeti ain't cheap either, but may be better alternative to the OEM cooler.

But having a Toyota stamp on a cooler, is kinda, cool....:anonymous:

Not only the stamp but also official color-matching... :anonymous:

Would it actually be real Cement paint or just a primer grey color?

Well the actual name/description specifically says "Cement", so I assume they actually use 1H5 to paint it.

Sorry, I misspoke or misremembered in my last post. While you can get door handles in matte black with smart key in general, you cannot that I am aware of for the Tacoma. That said you can definitely get black painted handles with smart key.

    69211-0E010-C0 - Handle, Passenger Door (Qty: 1 or 3)
    69210-0E080-C0 - Handle, Drivers Door
    69217-0E040-C0 - Cover, Handle (Qty: 1 or 3)
    69217-0E030-C0 - Cover, Handle

That matches what I have been told, but the new 2021 models do have a matte black door handle with smart key for the new limited.
Do you know when the part numbers for the 2021s will be released?

You can get Meso's Chrome delete kit for this, would be much cheaper than the OEM plastic with far better quality.

They come as a set of 4:

PT747-35200-02 - Plate Set, Door Sill (Access Cab)
PT747-35201-02 - Plate Set, Door Sill (Double Cab)

This piece is not sold separately, comes with the upper console panel.

    58804-04030-C1 - Panel, Console Upper

2020 and 2021 use the same door handles, there was no change for 2021 and no matte black with smart key.

I have the part numbers for 2021 already.

The change for 2021 is only for the Nightshade model. Outside color is wind chill pearl
You might not be able to order the nightshade parts

I understand what you mean now. As far as I know, the Nightshade hasn't gone into production yet for the 2021 Tacoma. That said, based on the photos I've seen and what Toyota is doing on other nightshade models like the 4Runner, I expect the door handles and mirror caps will be glossy painted, typically lifted from the black truck.

Yes you do have to take the taillights out. It is just two 10mm bolts though, pretty straight-forward.
