To answer the previous question about them, they do simply bolt to the cab, not the frame.

Sadly that is what I figured. They are basically purely cosmetic since it doesn't look like they stick out enough to be used as steps and yet aren't mounted to the frame so you can't really come down on them. At best they are slight protection from scuffing up your rockers.

I feel like someone who doesn't know what they are doing are going to try to rock slide on them and crush their cab. But I'm sure Toyota has some warnings in the instructions or stickers that will indemnify them if that happens.

    edit: CAN'T

Thanks for your hard work sorry I missed the post. Thats a bummer about bolting to cab. Will let my buddy know but I would assume thats a deal breaker since it could potentially cause more damage than its trying to prevent.

Exactly fashion over function. If they had spent a little more time on development and charged a little more they could have made a nice little chunk of change from people on this.

I need these two parts. I think I found the part numbers for 2020's, but I need confirmation that they'll fit my 2021 and that they're black. #'s I found are 5531704050c0 and 5531204010C0. Am I on the right track? Thanks!

I'm sorry, if this actually screwed to the rockers it's like if they advertised a "trail puller". Something that looks like winch, but is just screwed to the plastic bumper and is rated to pull 100 lbs...

Always nice to have people come back and post the answer when they solve it themselves, in case someone else is searching in the future and finds this thread. Kudos to you good sir!

Is the display screen in the gauge cluster the same on the 2020 SR w/ Convenience Package as SR5 and up models?

When I look up this part #00012-A2071-01 - Trail Rail, Double Cab, nothing shows up at any of the Toyota sites. Do I have it wrong?

No, it's just not a Toyota USA part number, it's specific to GST, check some dealers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, or Texas.

Thank you for the response. Have another question, looking for this caution sticker to the outlet pug in the bed for a 2019 OR.

I don't believe the label can be purchased separately, you'll need to order 85530-04020.
