Jeff, thanks, but I think that is the p/n for the luggage compartment w/o the speaker grill for a woofer that would be found in a truck with the JBL system.

Here is a walk through from Meso Cutoms to install a new lower switch panel. You will only need to go down to step 3 or 4 do your thing and put us back together.to be clear, I did not make ANY cuts. Just exposed the lower dash panel and swapped in the charger.

It has been a while but as I recall once I exposed the back of the switch panel I pushed out the ECT button, I relocated to the left side panel, and pushed in the new USB charger in place, wired it up to fuse box and ground, then closed the dash back up. As I recall, I found a good (stock) ground point just a few inches form the fuse panel. It was pretty easy to complete.

    Good luck!

Hey, this is great! Thank you. Since I am using AA with a wireless dongle, I was going to "re-locate" the USB for it behind the dash, and put in one of these QC3.0 fast-chargers, but preferrably one with a battery voltage display. The form-factor for the USB port with the door is small though, so I'm not sure one of them with the voltage display exists. Will have to look because I thought I saw one somewhere.

Well, the instructions say the panel with the push-start pulls out as well, but provides no detail. I just don't want to break the thing. :bananadead:

Nice, thanks for that. I ended up hiding the BT adapter behind the dash which rendered the OE USB port inop (more here). However I can always use the built-in outlet in the center console storage or the (unbelievably slow) Qi charger.

Unfortunately it looks like the Cllena Dual USB Port Charger won't fit in the OE USB slot, which was my goal, since it's too big. Here's a photo of it from an Amazon review. As you can see the OE USB port to the left of the Cllena is smaller. Good thought though.

I could have sworn it was the same size as the small button. I'll have to give my lower panel another look.

No, it’s the one for with the grille for the JBL speaker.

    64429-04040-C0 is for without JBL.

55524-12010-C0, 55524-02020-C0, or 55524-02020-C1 will fit the hole left by the USB port.

55524-12010-C0 is likely the easiest to source in North America.

Do you by chance know if Toyota makes any USB-C ports that would fit in that hole?

    Evening @Jeff Lange
Wondering if you could help me out, I’m looking for the part number for the USB port that controls the apple CarPlay in my 2020 TRD Sport 4X4. Something seems to be loose in mine, I loose connection when something taps the cords, figure I would just replace the USB and call it done. thanks.

    @Jeff Lange @everyone
    Hello,
Hope you can send some light on this. I have a 21 offroad with blindspot/parking radar/LED lights and want the MTM system cameras, I have the TRD lift which gave me the progrill with the camera bracket and wireharndess.

How to I know if I have the ECU ?
Are the cameras on the side view mirrors part of the MTM or panoramic view? (I want these as well and will they be plug and play or do I have to run wires through door?)
Will the switch be plug and play?

Basically just asking how to get the MTM system with my setup and the ability to view the side of my truck through the rear view mirrors.

Thank for you help and can you please provide P/N for side view mirror cameras.

    Center console organizer.
I’d even entertain aftermarket ones, as long as it fits in the same slot. Could supply it power from the cigarette lighter close to it.

I don't personally need a power port, I'm still using it to go to the radio. I just wish it was USB-C instead of USB-A so I could use a C to C cable. I use wired CarPlay all the time.

Here's the part number for the stereo's USB port:

    86190-35020

I'd try another well-made cable before replacing the port though. The connectors can get wonky.

It's also possible to go completely wireless for about what a replacement port would cost as well. Here's how I did it (with the help of some great TW members):

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/usb-port-opening-size.805008/#post-28948954

    Hope that helps!

I broke the bolt when putting on bed stiffeners. This is for anyone looking for this part for future usage. It is the same bolt as the tail lamp assembly bolt so I just ordered that.
