The box part is stock, that little rusted piece acts like spacer

Thanks! I actually did search but I think I may have used too-specific of terms.

Yes. I told them I ran the bolt in reverse and used foam tape to protect the brake line and they basically just said that yes, I should use the bolt and to just do what I’m doing and that it should be fine. A bit of a cop-out but so far it’s been holding up fine. I checked a few months ago and the brake line seems fine still. I wish they’d come up with official solution.

Thanks. Getting my sliders next week. I’m thinking about wrapping the brake lines with some 3m double side tape.

I just installed my sliders. I did reverse the bolts on two of those near the brake lines. Codemancer, for the ones you reversed, did you put the nut and then the Locking washer on the outside against the slider? A00E4DA2-A049-4695-BBDD-9D4F40928ECA.jpg

Also how did you deal with those wiring harness on the driver side?

If you look at my #3 in the image you quoted you'll see that I did the same as you with nut, then lock washer, then slider. As for the wiring harness... I'm not 100% sure what you're asking? But I believe I only ended up reversing #4 in my images. #3 is the bolt that is located "inside" the box with the wiring harness and I believe I didn't have any issues with it.

@Diesel156 oh do you mean how did I secure it since you had to pull the tab out? I had originally planned to go zip tie it, but I felt like it was actually fairly safe with little play in it. I probably should still go zip tie it though. Not exactly sure where, maybe that cross member between the first and second bolts?

I just installed my sliders too, not RCI, but I ran into the same issue, I tighten it while using a wrench to keep the nut from not spinning and rubbing the brake lines, I hope if anyone were to take apart my sliders to do work won't just impact wrench it, it'll rub the s out of the brake lines for sure
