No manual option in a sports coupe? WTF Toyota (and BMW). Starting at >$50k I will pass, Mustang GT/Base Corvette is the better buy.

Not agreeing/disagreeing. But what is better about the old compared to the new?

Not a fan. BMW priced. Toyota said cheaper and manual would make it compete with the 86/brz. And now my dream 94 just sold for $120k with 7k miles and now that dealer has it priced at $500k. No joke. For a 1994 supra. Wtf.

The Lexus LFA was the modern day Supra. Tell me what else the LFA is. That car is your supra right there. This thing just shits on the name. What a shame.

Yeah, but I bet it would pull a premium one week before race wars.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Its an underpowered BMW Z4 with Toyota styling. What made the Supra popular, especially in its day, was that it competed against $100k cars and was reliable. What made Supra special was the 2JZ spitting out +1000 HP with minimal effort (and what made it legendary was a crapy car movie that didnt know what "double clutching" was)

This will be a nice car but nothing special. Its a bit disappointing that Toyota didnt take the opportunity to restart the legend...

Will forever be one of my favorite movies, man if only I had the disposable income I have now back when I was in HS/College.

The I6 supra costs about the same price as the Z4 4cyl. Why would you buy the BMW over the Toyota? If it wasn't for BMW/Toyota teaming up the Z/Supra would have never happened. Why they chose to not offer a MT is beyond me. Guess 0-60 times are more important then anything else these days.

The Fourth Gen supra was not exactly affordable. The turbo version was going for almost $50k and they just didn't sell that many so production was cut. This is the reason why they are worth so much and sought after nowadays. Classic styling, pre-emissions, crazy HP output potential, and reliability. Its supply and demand and the supply is not their.

Shall we discuss why the e30 M3 is worth so much?

I was young. 330whp pump gas AWD turbo in parking lot when I was watching the movie. When we left that theater it was epic. Street races left and right all night and every weekend from then on till this day. Lol. Revived the car scene that's for sure.

Grew up with a single mom, never had Dad to show me how to wrench on stuff, that movie definately made me alot of who I am today when it comes to my love for vehicles, bikes and playing in the garage. So silly but actually shed some tears the day I found out Paul Walker passed.

I didnt tear up till end of his last movie when he drove off into sunset. Entire theater was crying. My dad owned jeeps all his life so all I did was help him wrench on cars. It's funny because the son has now become the teacher. Lol.

Very true. When finding my CTS-V I found an older AMG with a sticker price of $120k. It was being sold for $17500. Insane.

I just looked it up and still for sale. 2008 E63 AMG w p2 package. $16k in options. 507hp. 186mph governor removed. 98k miles. $10400 sticker price. They want $15900 for it.

I thought a Chevy ls6 motor tremec 6 speed would be a bit more reliable. Lol.
