2020 Tacoma Army Green Production

I am curious if anyone has any knowledge on when they will ship out more Army Green Tacomas. I currently only see 3 on Cars.com (I know this is normally not the most accurate). I know the production plants were shut down for a couple of months but they have been reopened for about a month now. I am hoping someone has some insider knowledge if they plan on making anymore or if they will shift focus to 2021.

I was at my dealership today having some stuff done, the lot was almost empty, not a Tacoma or Rav4 to be seen. I think they had 1-2 Tacoma's on the whole lot. I was talking to the guy who sold me mine in December. He says on a normal week they get 7-10 trucks , they are only getting 1 truck every 7-14 days right now. I think the Production plants have not ramped all the way up yet. It was eerie looking.

 

Thanks for the info. I just hope I don't miss out on an opportunity to get one. My dealership told me they were allocated one back in December and we are still waiting for one to show up.

 

Would you think that at this point they would start production on the 2021 models instead?

 

It will be more popular and available in 2021 as it moves down from the Pro.

That color will be readily available when it moves to the standard color pool for 2021. They should start the 2021 production in just a few weeks.

 

Yeah they will sell a ton of them in 21, however I want a Pro and a 20. Ever since I saw a picture back in June last year I knew that was the truck for me

Don't hold your breath. I tried to order one last August. They finally let me sign paperwork in September. Even though they told me it was allocated and ordered, come to find out, Toyota corp didn't accept the allocation until late November. At that point, it missed the production window (2 months on, 2 months off). It wasn't made until mid February.
Unless they give you the ACTUAL VIN, not the pre-production one they give you to pacify you, I think you are SOL on 2020 AG Pro.

 

The dealerships around here have very few (if any) Tacoma's. Of any trim or color.

 

After reading the OP’s inquiry. And doing a search, only one for 53k?.. Nope.
Just imagine? 2021 OffRoad w./6’ bed in Army Green!!!! Mmmmmm!!!
