2020 Tacoma engine surge

    2020 Tacoma with 400 miles. Engine will surge at idle but I also feel A surge on light accel. Anybody having this issue?

    My truck does the same with the a/c on. You'll see the rpm jump up a tiny bit. Outside of a cold motor imo, its normal my tundra did it to.

    Every vehicle I have owned has done this, some more noticeable than others. The tacoma is definently up there with the more noticeable ones.

    Only way to test this is to shut your ac off while idling for a few minutes and see if it stops

    At idle, manuvering in a parking lot, mine surges from the power steering. It's a bit annoying, you're just barely creeping and turn the wheel and the engine throttles up and bit it picks up speed.
