Can someone just show me which cords to cut where to reattach? Please, I can even do FaceTime so it can be super quick. image.jpg

    @destin_meeks
    Please help!
I’m looking at all photos and reading all you wrote but my harness isn’t matching anything I’ve seen on previous posts.

Are you planning on running power to the battery?

That is the original plan unless there’s a better route. @destin_meeks

You’ll need to do some cutting and splicing. Length of the harness is up to you

match the colors. Red to red. Green to green. Blue wire in the key harness to the red wire. Cut and ditch the yellow wire.

From my understanding, I’m going to cut the two harnesses that have the purple and green wires (not using the male inserts with 4pin). Match the color wires from the male end of purple and green group harness to kickers wires.
Match the female end of purple and green group harness to other side of kickers wires (power side).
And I don’t know what to do with the white and red harness.

Yeah it’s an easy run. Snap a pic of the drivers side of the firewall under the hood and I’ll show you

Looks like you’ve already run a wire there. Just make sure it’s not running on metal because it will definitely wear through and short out

Ya, that’s my fog light power cable. I listened to another member who ran it behind the grommet instead of through it. Then I read and realized it could short if that did rub and rip the wire.
I guess I should have went in the middle of grommet but it seemed too tight. I’ll try to fit it in so I don’t make same mistake.

You can also just poke a hole in the rubber and run the wire through. Tape it really good to a wire hanger and push it straight through

Anyone have a picture of the amp tucked in behind head unit? @destin_meeks
If not, I’ll just shove it in and hope for the best

There’s a huge bundle of wires going straight across at the back of the dash cavity if I remember correctly. Try to zip tie it to that do it doesn’t flop around and mess anything up

It’s all wired up, but when I turned on truck, there is no sound being produced. I’m going to take a fresh look today at wire connections. I’ll keep you updated.
Ya even with a foot of wire on both sides, the amp still fits behind HU. There’s so much wiring back there that it rests on that like a nest.

Well you want your bass/mid/treble set all to the middle. The Sound Leveler probably off.
Make sure that yellow wire is capped off and not being used. That’s your radio’s constant power.
Also, make sure the plug by the Key controls are going to the radio
