I read that with a Texas drawl in my head.

The thread is linked in my signature, order form link at the bottom of the first post. I just edited it this morning and added some current photos.

I’m behind on shipping out due to needing parts but I should have adequate stock by the end of the week.

Unplugged the harness and issues resolved. As a matter of fact, the alarm wouldn't disarm and the truck lost all power; no dome or interior lights. I had to use my key to get in to the truck, because the alarm did set, popped the hood, disconnected the harness on both lights and it immediately set off the factory alarm and the battery came alive. It's like this harness was just one big gremlin.

I'll slide in to your DMs @daveeasa and do whatever I have to get a harness. Thanks for the help and logical solutions.

    Thanks again everyone,
    J.

For any of the Lurkers like myself I'll make sure and post up the solution, if there is one, once Dave diagnosis or if we just toss the damn thing.

Maybe send it to David and could possibly figure it out? Might help others when they have the problem and could be fixed as a DIY on the spot?

Also might just be garbage and need to be tossed*

Right now they look fine on the outside. Next step is dissect.

I’ll get J sorted. I can yank the set on my truck and send today if he can’t drive down.

I’m dissecting the @.J. harness right now which I believe is the eBay one I recommend in the info thread. It looks really nice on the outside. The terminals are different than the ones I receive from my vendor who is US based and reputable. This is common for harnesses made overseas though and all the crimps look fantastic. I cannot tell any difference in dimensions of the terminals with my micrometer, they seem a very close match.

    I’ll test continuity next.

@Puppypunter anything else I should be looking at or checking?

Everything about this harness looks great to me. They use 16 gauge wire to my 18 but if the terminal is sized to the wire it's never problematic to go bigger.

My best theory here is that the terminals used are just not quite perfect enough of a match to hold tight and perhaps the unreliable connection (potentially experienced post install via vibration from driving/engine as the terminals settle in) causes the ECU to freak out a bit?

That's total BS theory though, zero evidence to conclude that other than my visual inspection that the terminals are definitely not the same as the ones I receive when I purchase MX-150's.

So as to not pollute this thread further, I think I'll move the in-depth discussion to the OEM LED Conversion Harness DIY thread.

Is there anyway to mount this headlight with a broken tab? #3

Do you have the tab or is it completely missing?

What is his price? My over - under with a single broken tab and no other damage is probably $200. I think you could cut one off a damaged halogen and then just need to get it transplanted.

Shoot, sorry, you are close to the front of the line on the harness but I’m still waiting on those H9 male connectors. USPS came a few minutes ago and didn’t have them.
