    Worth it

Crazy though, the Tundra Pro LED headlights are $600 for the pair. WTF was happening there?

I don’t think it’s the same though. It say led fog lights with led accents. Maybe I’m seeing something different

I don’t get that option under packages, just this. I really don’t want to buy these after the fact! Are the standard headlights worth anything if I had to go the switch out route? I guess I could sell them

That's rough. What is in the premium package anyway? Hope you at least get leather heated seats for $5k.

The halogens, even brand new takeoffs, they aren't exactly hot sellers right now...

They might have changed the package upgrades for 2022. You pay $5k to get them or you don't...

halogens in good condition $100-200?? Nobody is really looking for them now like they were a few years ago. OEM LED are hot now and LED aftermarket kind of made them undesirable. From what I've seen, people who buy them are SR / SR5 owners wanting to upgrade or someone damaged a headlight and might only want to buy (1)

Order them factory if you can. Nobody wants the halogens and I can confirm that a couple of led flashlights taped to the hood would provide more light output than the factory halogen horse and buggy carriage lanterns. It is a $485 factory option. Tacoma LED Factory.jpg

What zip code? Called the dealer and they can add them, but on the toyota website it’s not showing for me.

If the dealer will let you add them into your build from factory definitely do it. Not sure why it doesn't appear on your end.

How is it, that this cost $485 from the dealership? But costs me $650 (ish) a light aftermarket from a wholesaler? It's usually a kick in the face and nuts when having dealership install. Seeing this almost had me trade in my TRD to buy a new one with LEDs

I agree. I considered trading my 17 in for a 22 for the same reason. Also, I was interested in the updated bed lights and manual transmission, but with the economy the way it is and the inventory shortages on vehicles (and lots of other things too) it made more financial sense to keep mine for at least a couple more years and do a few minor upgrades myself.

    Lol, yep!

I did the bed lights myself. I think it cost me $45 dollars maybe? I can't remember. But it was MUCH cheaper than what the dealer was going to charge me.

It’s part of the factory build. As a result it’s a cost trade at the factory, they don’t have to put in halogens so the LEDS are cheaper.

buying factory new m, halogens are insanely expensive, even if they are super cheap on the used market. Leds are insanely expensive new, and also expensive on the used market

Curious has anybody swapped headlights from the oem led headlights to the halogen headlights? Possibly for a retrofit set etc. wanting to see what it takes to do so.

I want to say I saw someone ask about this same thing just in the last few months. Not sure anything came of it.

I’ll do some looking in the morning

I don't think my drl are working. I saw up thread that someone just needed to replace a fuse, is the dealer the best place to get a new one? Also what's this plug for? Was not plugged into anything on my halogens on passenger side. Should I do anything about it or just leave it? Low beams, high beams, turn signals all workPXL_20211120_223417497.jpg PXL_20211120_223410682.jpg

Windshield washer fluid sensor, only available for Canadian models as required by law I believe?

Post photos of your DRL connector. I assume you connected it?
