I'd imagine as long as they're doing it the install should be warrantied and everything. If you can get assurances I'd probably just go for it.

Also looking, also had that offer. It was made by a fairly new salesmen who said “we can install any option on any truck” (although my offer didn’t say at no cost, good for you)
I replied that I thought it was a different wiring harness altogether, which seems to be the consensus of the smarter-than-me people. To my knowledge, Toyota doesn’t make a product to convert one wiring harness to another, which is why the fine people in this thread are making some nice looking ones.
So without an official Toyota product and seeing the nice harnesses here, my confidence that a service tech could whip up something as nice, no way. Maybe they backpedal and can’t do it or maybe they make a rats nest of bare wires and wire nuts and chop your harness to bits.
If they make that offer you can always hold them to it, just make sure you peek back there and make sure it looks nice/safe.
Also, they should include the fogs too, led headlights with halogen fogs would look bad.

For those of you who have swapped out your headlights for the 2020's or any other brand , how did the bumper, flares everything else fit when it was all put back ? Hearing stories from people of the bumper and flares having gaps after they removed em to install headlights. Thanks.

Put mine in yesterday. Fit just like the stock halogens. No issues at all.

flares and bumper fit the same as before ? I heard from some that their flares wouldn’t snap back in like before and bumper didn’t line up correctly .

I just don’t see how that could happen. Both the halogen headlamps and LED headlamps have the exact same foot print with mounting tabs in the exact same position. Someone screwed up. There is nothing that would cause flares or bumpers to fit any differently.

Side note: the whole bumper and the flares don’t need to come completely off to remove or install the headlamps. Just two tabs on the flares and a slight pop out of the bumper.

I finally got mine in today. Very happy with the results and Mike's harnesses worked perfectly.

Nice! Really like how they look with the Pro Grille. I've thought about swapping, but my 2020 grille has grown on me.

My lights finally came into Culver City Toyota. Well, they may have been there for a bit and they forgot to call me. I know folks are getting their harnesses but so for I'm still waiting. In the meantime, since these are really quite beautiful, I made a little photo of the left side this afternoon. This is actually a VERY difficult product to shoot well and required about half a dozen slices for focus an then four more just for the reflector assembly part and a fair amount of Photoshop to get to this point. I do have a 12v power supply here so maybe I'll look back in the thread and figure out which are the correct pins to light up here in the studio and shoot a more controlled beam pattern for you all. Lets say if someone were to steal my front end how hard would it be to take the parts off without coverage?
