2020 Tacoma OEM LED Headlight Megathread

I'm guessing everyone is paying roughly $1300 for the LED headlights?

 

Here in Canada list is approximately 1100 each. For the Trd Pro

I found this somewhere. (these are Canadian prices). These prices are crazy. Even at dealer cost it would be quite expensive to replace perfectly good headlight units. It made me decide to go for Hikari led bulbs, which do an adequate job. I am sure these LED units perform better but not CAD$ 2,770 (incl. tax) better.

 

Shopping for a 2020 off road DCSB 4x4 cement,
I can’t believe these headlight are not standard and I can’t find a single one with only this option. Have to either find one for the $3k+ package or order one which is about 3 to 6 month wait time

I have a deal set up for one with the 770 technology package but it doesn’t even say it has LED DRL and fog lights
Anyone know if those are standard?

 

The 2020 Pro LED headlights actually went down in price. The ‘17 -‘19 Pro headlights were almost $2k a pair, the new 2020 Pro headlight assembly are around $1,300 a pair.

 

Hi Guys - just got my 2020 OR with premium and tech package. I got what I believe to be a fantastic deal, but it didn't come with the one option I really wanted, LED headlights. Like most I couldn't find any dealer with that option near me. Does anyone have the stock numbers, msrp, and dealer prices for both OR LED's and Pro? I'm having trouble finding them in this thread. Also what could I get for my stock lights that only have 50 miles on them?

I've had xenon lights on all my other cars in the last 12 years so going back to halogens is a bit rough. I don't need the brightest lights in the world, but I do like the whiter light, defined beam pattern, and the design of the DRL on the full LEDs.

If I were in the situation of the two posters above I would negotiate a deal to have the dealer order them and install them

Culver City Toyota sold them to me for approximately $665 each. They told me that was 10% over dealer cost, so figure dealer cost is floating right around six bills per.

 

Thank you. Anyone have the stock number for the 2020 trd or stock lights or know how Much they are new?

Trying to figure out if I should go oem led, Xb, or just replace the bulbs with some gtr ultra 2’s. Replacing the bulbs isn’t that much cheaper if I end up selling mint stock fixtures to offset full led’s.

Edit - ruling out the xb’s. Too many negatives.

Just got my set from Olathe today. No extra packaging was added and one of the lights has a mounting tab broken off. No obvious damage to the outside of the box. For anyone that also received theirs damaged - how did you go about getting them replaced? Did you contact the dealer or file a claim through the shipper?

 

I contacted the seller and they sent me return labels
