That is a fully assembled rear light with included lights. You probably won't see those available for a while. They were over $500 / $600 if not a bit more, I cant remember.

The stage one total tails are just the lights and harness that plug into your existing tails light. for about $150

No, mine were the same bulb as halogen headlight version. You still have to worry about hyperflash with most LED bulbs too.

Cool. I ordered the harness from Mike. Waiting for the LED rear lights to be available and of course a price drop on the OEM front LEDs. $500 option when you buy the car $1500 if you don't and buy them later. RIP OFF!

Just how it goes. But your getting what you want.

I’m still searching for the best deal on headlights. I’ve gotten $1340ish with shipping. Wondering if I should waiting till 4th of July to find a better deal at least with shipping.

Not as bad as you would think. The OEM Halogens are pretty pricey if you compare MSRP prices to the LED MSRP price. If you look at buying off the shelf new from a place like Olathe or BAM at the most heavily discounted it's like $600 vs $1400. So your $500 upcharge saves you a few hundred from buying both off the shelf. Problem is you bought two headlights, one not as discounted when buying the whole truck.

I'm actually arguing with the dealer. "You didn't even mention this was an option" and he said "Didn't come with a harness to have LED". So I replied "Ok, I can get a harness, can you still match the price?"

I’m going back and forth with the dealer right now about trying to get LEDs on the truck I ordered taken care of. It’s really hard to decipher what is just dealer talk and what is actually truth but they actually seem very uninformed about all of it. Some regions like Southeast Toyota don’t have many of them with LEDs as an option and if they do they’re only on the higher packages. if you’re getting a TRD off-road then at least you have the L pattern LED daytime running lights which at least if you try and sell them as you could probably get a little more on craigslist as they would be seen as an upgrade from the regular halogens. They do look kind of good. I’m thinking if you stuck it out maybe you can get in the 4 to $500 range.

Unfortunately I already bought the truck and the dealer tried to tell me "Your truck doesn't have the harness for them" so I replied "I can get the harness, the lights are a $500 option, can you honor that deal".

So far, crickets. I reached out again to see if they will finally answer me. I just bought the truck a week ago, FFS. You'd think they'd do whatever it takes to keep a cusotmer happy.

You guys bought the truck, it’s not their fault you didn’t research it. They want to sell you what they have on their lot. Good luck on getting discounts, but I wouldn’t hold a grudge on them for this one if they don’t do anything. Just take it as a life lesson and do better research next time you buy something of this nature.

It’s not like the conversion harness is a mass market item as well. Both of them appear to require emailing the sellers directly to even be able to ask to purchase it. I don’t blame dealers for not wanting to be apart of swapping the headlights.

HEy buddy, the total tails are in stock. (just the harness with lights that you install to your existing tails) not the full housing custom lights

Yessir I got the email and I got the taillights. Pretty cool.

FWIW this is exactly what the dealer said about the front LED lights:

"I have been told by management that we can not do it. The LED headlights have to be installed in the Toyota factory when the truck is being built. Nothing i can do."

Yeah I get it. No grudges held but you cannot blame me for trying/asking. The dealer invoice says LED's are $500 but they want to sell them to me for $1500 and I just do not get it.

It's $500 upgrade, the headlights aren't $500. You are paying $500 more for LED headlights, the halogen DRLs are around $600 new. So you are more like paying $1100 for headlamps you can buy separately for $1400. You don't get the $600 halogens when you buy LED headlamps for $500. You end up with two sets of headlights if you buy new LEDs for $1400. I just have the LED for the $500 upgrade. It's not like the dealer wants to sell your headlights used and give you that $600 discount.

That's odd because I saw the LED option after the fact and it said "$500 for LED headlight package" or something to that effect. My standard halogen lights were not an additional charge.
