Where is everyone buying their OEM headlights from? Looking to get the best price possible.

From when I looked around most dealerships were in the same ballpark, but it was the shipping that swung the price for me, at least.

I need to consolidate several of the OEM review posts into a single review, but see Here, here and here for comparison info.

I ordered mine from oempartsource for $660 each no tax $47 shipping back on the 9th, but I'm still waiting for them to ship. They emailed me right away stating these were a popular item, and they would have to get them from another warehouse and they should be shipping in 1 to 3 days. Still haven't heard from them.

That’s ridiculous, I’d follow up with them. I ordered mine on Friday at 2:00pm and I got a shipping notification this morning. I didn’t order from them though.

I agree. Seems a bit odd for them. Everything I've ordered from them gets to my door in 4-5 business days.

Stock 2020 LED headlights question. I’ve done a few HID retrofits. I’ve done Led headligh bulbs. For learning purposes, the stock 2020 Tacoma LED headlights, I noticed there’s really no bulbs, but rather build in LED’s. Is that accurate ? Do they ever go bad and if they do, i guess you just replace the whole housing ? ‍♂️

    Yes, built in LED's.
I mean everything will go bad eventually but quality LED's have a 40,000-50,000 hour lifespan. "If" they do go out, yes, whole new headlight unless you want to open them up to replace yourself

Sounds more expensive than just buying a replacement bulbs.
Yikes. I just traded for an OR 2020 and I have those built in LED's now

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about them going bad though.

They have a 4-5 year life span... as in constantly on for 4-5 years. I think you’ll be fine. I have a ton of good quality LED flashlights that I use on a daily basis. I’ve never had an LED burn out on one.

I followed up this morning, and they emailed me back with the tracking info. Shows it shipped today.

Sort of, they arrived and looked good. But as I was starting to install the final light noticed the upper tab was broken off. Found it laying in the bottom of the box. Right where is sat in the box there was a hole punctured, oempartsource is going to file a claim against Fedex. So, hopefully They'll send me a new light. I would buy from them again, sure it was Fedex's fault. Although Toyota should have made the tabs a little more heavy duty. Very thin plastic.

I got mine through McGeorge Toyota.
They placed the headlight box in an extra big box when they shipped it. It traveled via USPS across the Pacific unharmed and fully intact.

Was kind of shocked seeing the box, "no way the headlight is this big"...
