I was a bit shocked as well. I thought the Pro’s would be WAY higher.

Was able to look at a set last night looks to be only one plug for everything into the headlight assembly. On a side note they look great and by far brighter and wider throw then my 19 halogens. Will definitely be buying a pair once a conversion harness is available.

Correct. 2020 LED headlamps went to a single 6-pin electrical connector.

I e-mailed Andrew from TRS regarding a conversion harness since I will be installing a pair. He said the conversion harness is still “a few months out” and to stay tuned for updates.

Well hopefully someone or company will be able to manufacture one sooner. It isn’t my expertise but I’m sure someone can figure out making 3 plugs into one quicker.

So if you are buying a 2020 Tacoma that does NOT have the TRD LED headlights, I'm assuming you can buy the TRD LED headlights and should just plug right in, huh? I wouldn't think you'd need a conversion harness since it's the same year, like you would in previous years? Anyone know yet?

@ttu19 No you still need a conversion harness. I looked at both 2020. The led headlights have a different harness.

Nope. It’s been confirmed that the electrical connections are completely different. LED’s use one 6-pin connector.

I have to say I’m very impressed with them I test drove one Friday night and I can tell you they blow away the oem projectors. They are very bright the throw is farther down the road and the spread is very noticeable. And they look amazing on the truck. I think Toyota knocked it out of the park with these leds

Ok cool, well that stinks. Surprised it would have a completely different plug, but then again I guess that makes sense. Guess it's just a matter of time then for someone to create one.

Got a set of these coming in next week from my dealer. He said they are a little tricky to get at the moment, but I was surprised that the PRO’s were just about the same price as the Standard LED. I didn’t want the gaudy PRO badge lit up, so I went with the regulars. I’ll rip them apart as soon as they are here to give you guys some inside details. I have something super crazy planned

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I was really surprised at the price too. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Not sure they can be blacked out with the led buckets but I'm sure you'll make another great pair of lights. :hattip:

My 2020 TRD Pro LED headlight assemblies will arrive next week as well. I plan on having them treated with XPEL PPF while I wait on a conversion harness.

I am not keeping any of the factory lights(high or low) inside.
I’ll look at the harness and get some pinouts/functions. But I think TRS is working on a conversation harness and I don’t want to step on any toes. I’m not treating mine with XPEL, But rather 300°F and 15min in the oven.

From some research I’ve been doing the wires from the non LED to LED are all the same color and I found the part number to the connector that plugs into the back of the headlight you’d just have to take the factory connectors apart look at the pictures and get the colors matched to factory spots and it should work.
