    I installed a set today.
    My radio is slightly recessed into the bezel.
    When the new knobs are installed the right one sticks a bit when pressed in.
    It rubs on the external bezel of the radio.
    Anyone else experience this?

    Have not experienced this, but maybe put a couple of washers behind the radio mounting bolts to move it outward. Or switch the knobs to see if that makes any difference.

    Just did this mod and worked like a champ. Literally took 3 min including pulling the plastic center out of the new knobs. Both buttons push in for their original functionality without a problem. Thanks to the OP for this great suggestion. The OEM knobs were making me crazy, and this allowed me to keep the back lighting. Glad I saw this thread before I ordered the Hondo knobs!

    Well, I stopped at Lowes today and picked up some nylon washers.
    They are about 1.8mm thick.
    They worked perfectly and the knobs now work great.

    Great job with the washers. :thumbsup:

    Hi- my right knob kinda jams slightly. It’s rubbing against the radio bezel/ vent shroud. Get in the passenger seat and pull this part towards the passenger side 1 mm. I did and now my knob just misses the edge. Also never remove this bezel without first taking off the knobs, as it could scuff them. 26BEF707-9B6D-4587-B67D-3F9B3909F11B.jpg

    Thanks for the info and detail OP! Been lurking here for a few months and owe thanks to many, but those factory knobs were truly a great annoyance and this easy upgrade fixed one of the items I really came to despise.
