$20.00 if you assemble it yourself...

When DRL is ON, it'll feed the TAIL/Parking Circuit, unless you place a diode, switch or relay to feed the added Grill LED's. Same for when DRL turn OFF after selecting headlamps (low) the TAIL/Parking will feed the DRL circuit.

Wouldn't one need a crimping tool? Then harness tape and wire loom along with correct gauge wire? The connectors (which you so kindly listed) plus shipping on all of the above items? And maybe 20-30m of labor to assemble at minimum wage rate (most of us bill a bit higher than minimum wage)? Then add some time for continuity and water intrusion testing (not sure if that's included with this purchase but I'm going to assume the manufacturing in bulk will yield a higher quality harness than something I'd build for myself.) Hitting that $20 price point as a novice would be a real challenge if any value is placed on labor.

I have no beef with the listed price, it seems completely fair. My only beef is with myself for liking these silly grille lights, it feels a little juvenile but I can't quit 'em.

It does help to understand the circuitry involved, thanks to your posted details, it's not as straightforward as just splicing a wire or two.

INJ fuse will not let the lights automatically come back on. The EFI fuse will do that.

@MESO will the harness work for this connector?

So my r4t harness just arrived, and I never thought about this, but I believe my LED's have slightly different connectors, bwahahahahaha. Also, cloth tape on the T portion for engine compartment? That definitely needs to get swapped for real heat-resistant poly harness tape and maybe a short piece of loom too.

Otherwise, it's top notch. I really like how the leads are different lengths, well thought out. Sadly, I think I will probably have to splice in a new male connector on my old harness to use it.

Did you have the same connectors as this?

How did you connect them If it was different?

So my grille lights use the red connectors which match the T harness, vs the white smaller ones which I guess are r4t specific. Which means I'll just re-use my existing wire and add a connector to it vs buying another $35 set of the same grille lights which I don't need right now. The r4t harness is nicer since mine has 4 equal lengths for each of the branches which isn't as well thought out, also the heat shrink is superb on r4t whereas on my cheapo it's definitely not snug.

Just kind of funny I guess, how much money I'm spending to pretty up something which was basically fine on the INJ add a fuse.

if I tap into the DRL wire thats on the new 2020 led headlights, the raptor lights should turn on when I have the DRLs on?

Yes, but the grill led will turn OFF once low beams are selected.

That's a neat way to use a single relay for this.

I think everyone just does 1A diodes, though, instead of a separate relay b/c it's just grille lights and super low current draw so no big deal. And, yeah, I was also thinking T harness option for people with factory LED's who want grille lights but the connectors are kind of not cheap b/c they are so nice.

The 'punter is busy working on an option which will dim with headlights and full bright with DRL and from there maybe sequential turns (which would mean taps on both L and R sides) but now we're getting all crazy aren't we? :)

But, to the specific point, if doing it right with T harness and external module, it might be worth considering a dimmed option off the parking light feed and full bright off DRL.

Taking it too far is what we do :D

adding the option to dim with the parking lights is pretty straight forward. The only thing that sucks is having to add a waterproof box because the dimming module isn’t waterproof. @RyanDCLB might start producing these for the TRD and the LED options. If he doesn’t though, I’m sure we could whip them out easy enough.
