Anyone know the dynamic weight of a 2020 Tacoma SR5 (Inline 4 Cylinder) for cargo carried on the roof of the truck? I do not have any roof racks, but was hoping to put an anti slip mat and storage bag that clips and was wondering what the max weight would be for the top while driving?

    Thank you!

Just keep adding weight and let us know what you find out.

Went 3000 miles. Had probably around 200 lbs distributed across the roof of the truck with no issues / damage by using an anti-slip mat with a storage bag on top.

Good question. Sold my 2012 with quite a large roof dent from standing on a 2x3 square of plywood atop it to reach an overhead winch for my cap. Did exactly the same with prior trucks with no issue.
