It'd be genius if those headlights were drop-ins for us. Maybe just repinning the connectors.

Probably not so much about power, think it's more about adjustability than anything else.

The only Toyota 4x4 model can recall that got an engine update was the FJ Cruiser when it went from the 1GR-FE with single VVT-i to dual VVT-i

Anything can be possible especially with new competitors the Tacoma is facing.

If it has seat adjustability (down) and zero mph adaptive cruise, those alone would be worth holding off my purchase for another year.

I would really like to have all the options that Toyota decided to bundle with the moonroof that I can't fit my head under....

I heard the only difference is they added another cup holder for 2020. Oh and they took away the other bed side storage bin

Went in for my 10k service and saw this on the showroom floor.

Slightly peeved that they finally put homelink in the 2019s and not the 2018s. :angrygirl:

If Toyota stays predictable, they will change a bit of the sheet metal and maybe add one or two “modern” updates like auto start and folding mirrors.

Don’t forget this truck is essentially the exact same one since the 2nd gems came out.

always have the truck start up with the etc on and have a switch in the
stick shift called eco. remove that lower lip on the front bumper
and add that to the bed length. toyota being as reliable as they are
should up the warranty to match kia.

That's what I'm thinking. I think Chevy did the same thing with the colorado, going from a 6 to 8 speed.

2020 Tacoma is being made at the brand new factory in Mexico that Toyota has been working on to increase capacity. Texas still makes the access cabs for now.

    ^^this.

However, I personally don't think we'll see any drastic changes before 2021, as they probably needed to wait until they saw the full Ranger spec sheets to respond effectively.

And since were all guessing on what will change , imho the powertrain will carryover with same motor and transmission. Front sheet metal styling, some electronics , rear disc brakes, done.

Rangers spec are already out and trucks are being delivered to customers. My local Ford dealer has 3 trucks on their lot right now
