Anyone ever talk to or heard of Cody, sales rep at Tustin Toyota? Apparently he's huge around the entire state of California and west coast for Toyota Tacomas and their deals. Just got a hold of his pricing sheet yesterday and holy crap. Insane deals.

Congrats on the new purchase. As a fellow white Pro owner I would strongly suggest you get PPF on at least the front. I got it done on the bumper, full hood/fenders, side mirrors, headlights, and door cups then had ceramic applied over the whole truck. Couple the thin white single coat paint will have little rock chips and pock marks soon if you don't. from the steps listed above you sound pretty meticulous with your vehicles.

You end up going with the auto or manual?

Well, wasn't planning to buy from them, but this seals the deal that i won't if I don't end up purchasing from the current dealer I'm working with.

Honestly I’m not sure where you’re located in Oregon but in my experience so far with this...

Portland is awful, Gresham is crap, Ronn Tonkin thinks all the packages are the same... idiots. Go with Wilsonville or Capital in Salem. Don’t waste your time with the Portland area dealers.

They gave me that option but I feel safer in person. That way I can hash out more stuff on paper.

@utesfan07, @Blauman See below for link to his pricing sheet. I got wind of him through Dustin, owner of FN Wheels. He's been selling toyota rims for 15+ years. He told me that a couple of years ago he noticed A LOT of 3rd gens coming to his warehouse with Tustin Toyota paper plates. People from all different states and parts of the country making the trip here. Then he asked what was up and apparently Cody has the hook up. I was wondering for years how all these kids I see around town in orange county drive brand new 3rd gens and I make six figues and think twice about upgrading from a 2nd to a 3rd gen. It didnt ad up. I guess a lot are leases.

Unless things have changed since 2015 when I was trying to buy my 2015 with an in with the service director they would not even do the Costco deal.

Currently working with Beaverton Toyota since it's right next to my work. They've been ok so far, but not the most responsive at times.

50k. It booked for 49,400-53,600. Wasn't a super deal but I didn't have to pay any taxes... And that was more than I paid for the Tacoma, I was shocked they were willing.

Auto. I prefer a manual but my wife isn't as comfortable driving a manual. She hated it when I left her with the M3 when I needed her MDX to pull our utility trailer. Now we can trade cars easier when it's time to do maintenance, etc. I just debadged it tonight, I like it so much better without all that extra stuff hanging off the paint...lol Debated the PPF but didn't order it, maybe I need to do that... I just never liked the edges once installed. I'll be cleaning it up tomorrow evening so I can ceramic coat it on Saturday afternoon. Then it'll be a long 2 days of curing before driving it again.

I have yet to find an honest dealer. They send the same b.s. email from the g.m. saying the Limited is available and they have an open appointment today. Then an email from a salesman says it's not available for 8 weeks.

They had a 2020 TRD Pro in Army green. I got mine from Toyota Gladstone. Just had decals added the other night.

Same with my wife, but manuals are a dying breed and I had to have it. She manages to get by in her GMC Yukon haha. for the PPF if you find a competent person they will wrap the edges and heat seal them. I have that done and you cant even tell there is PPF on the truck. Had to do it that way because seeing the dirt crease line would drive me nuts. Important to do it early in the process, there is a lot of stuff you can do later but once the front end starts to get beat there is no going back.
