Since you seem to know quite a bit, when are we going to see rear disc brakes?

carmaker1 seems to have a track record....and mildly credible

Here is a comment he made 3 years ago, calling himself an engineer.

Bogdan Zoltan, I am the one that managed to purchase a copy of Mag X and kindly provided this exact photo tip to Lexus Enthusiast.

"Carmaker1" was watermarked in this photo by me for a reason, since Mag X refuses membership to non-Japanese and that I went through so much trouble to publicise this.

As I have said so many times, it is tiring to see that everyone automatically assumes these auto show concepts directly influence a similar looking production car. There is no such trickle-down theory here, which was the case with the LF-LC and 2018 LC500 coupe.

This clay model photo of the LF-FC at Toyota Tokyo Design Centre, was taken on December 3, 2014. The concept wasn't even finished until September 2015.

The production LS design was shown to Lexus executives in July 2014 and a prototype in October 2014. How would a subsequent 2015 concept car influence an already finished 2014 design? They're not going to change a design, once they get to certain stages of development.

Why can't many of you understand for once, that once a design is FROZEN it is no longer going to be altered in respect to future developments?

As an engineer, I imagine it would be hell for various departments on a model development programme, to be chasing moving targets and nothing would ever get done, if design sign-offs were not maintained and instead changes made whenever anyone felt like it.

Customers would be merely test dummies, if that were true.

Sorry if I sounded like an ass. What I meant was makers aren't going to include many new things unless they're forced to. Maybe something once in a while so they can toot their own horn but not a lot more until they have to.
I hope this Ranger and all the press and sales it's getting will wake Toyota up a bit.

Yep it was the "baby" Bronco that I was thinking about that was unibody based on same platform as the Focus I believe. My mistake.

I'm legitimately interested in seeing what this actually is, on the 7th. I've been considering trading mine in, because I want a double cab and the leather you can now get on TRD's. The 2020 is going to have to be more than just LED headlights and power seats for me to wait, though.

So do we know if the power seats will allow you to raise the seat HIGHER than the current level, or will it just be lower?

Right, it is too low, but given how low the roofline is on these trucks, I'm not sure they can safely have the seats go much higher.
