Hey there, if anyone can give me trouble shooting... I recently installed on my 2020 taco the anytime front camera kit, while in reverse I can switch between cameras.. But while in parking or driving I'm not able to see the front camera... Which is a plus when pulling into tight place... Can anyone provide any details on how to fix...? I have seen on different forums that they do work... I will appreciation the heads up.... Thanks...

What and where did you purchase the kit? It might've not included the speed cutoff feature. Now the parking (as in stopped) seems very odd, since speed is not the issue. I'd say email the provider.

It was purchased at anytime camera.com this kit was sopposed to be for the 2020... The only thing the asked me if I had connected the override harness was connected... I've pulled out the unit twice, kind of frustrating....http://www.anytimebackupcamera.com/

Did they explain what the override harness does? Does it override the camera selection?
I know the 2020 has a feature in the Head Unit that doesn't allow the viewing/selection of the front camera while in motion above certain speed. But being that it's an add on it should not matter, unless they haven't worked the bugs out entirely on the harness.

That might be the problem... 2016- 2019 kit works as advertise... The kit I purchased says 2020... I did not know... This model does not let you do this while in motion...

have no idea if any of this would be helpful to you or not.....

I am pretty sure that the 2020 anytime kit is for the 2020 only
and that the previous kits(2016-2019?) will not work with the 2020 tacoma
because the connectors on the back of the headunit may be different.
I do not have extensive knowledge of any different head units may exists for
stock 2020 tacoma's...so this may be incorrect.

Did you order the basic kit or the kit with the premium camera?
    Specifically a 2020 kit?

I order the kit with the 'premium' camera...specifically for a 2020....$201? i think.........

I believe that the basic camera and premium camera have kits may get wired differently.....at some points.

I have a 'basic' 2020 tacoma access cab 4WD 4 cyl. no TRD, no sport this or that............
My dash board has plenty of blank places to put switches.

I installed my kit last week(firewall wire, switch blab lahblah)............except for the front camera mount.
It all works....i can view any camera at any time. forward, reverse, stopped etc etc. I tested it at low speeds and high speeds (65mph). no issues.

This is the post i made on it that install....so far
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/anytime-front-and-rear-camera-mod.542285/page-79#post-25129507
There is a link to the wiring diagram i used...there.

I did notice this about my install experience/kit i got from anytime.
    o) One of the harnesses had a long roll of 2 wires...1 red..1 black wire...which I did not require.
I clip most of this wire off and taped it off...diagram said this was for the regular camera.

    o) I believe that the back of my head unit....not sure if yours is the same or not...might have 2 jacks that
take the same plug...ie. you can unplug one and plug it back into the wrong jack.
Anyway..eventually i used the picture...in my post....as my guide to connect the head unit harnesses
    and everything works okay.
The link to that picture is below:
    https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...0d-5e1667c7f163_1024x1024@2x.jpg?v=1607033142

    o) I used a grounding point that was already being used...hard to describewhere its located..... to the left of the head unit behind some trim pieces.
All of my ground wires were connected together.
I put a ring crimp connector on my grounding wire setup, took off the bolt that was there, slid my ring connector over it
and put the bolt back in.

I had similar issue with 2020 TRD OR. I had it working then went to put it all back in console and only rear camera would work. Not sure this is same issue for you but I had wrapped the RCA jacks with Electrical tape and when I did it altered the connection of the front cam. When I was trouble shooting I took all the connectors apart and the "male" metal piece fell out of the RCA Jack - these jacks seem super cheap. I put it all back together carefully and it worked. I re-taped while watching the screen and got it all working. Now I just need to figure out how to mount the font cam to the Egg Carton Grill. Taco Garage is out of the mounts and not sure the Tacoma LED one will fit...

I had gone through 2 kits... didn't hear back from the customer service and was wanting to go on a trip with the front cam... long story short both connections at the relay from the video inputs and outputs at the relay connection were messed up from anytimebackupcamera.com(non prewired) and trailgridpro.com (prewired). So here's the rest; needing to get it done quickly and not have a ton of wires dangling I found the issues coming from that area. The first one from anytime would work when I wiggled the connection where the 3 black cables were connection with the ground coming out of them and the 3 white wires into the relay... it would work then not work upon pressure when wiggling it... so I swapped the relay and the rca plugs and back to square one BLACK SCREEN on reverse when in reverse and when toggled to reverse. I was about to try one more thing and swap the relay box thinking it was that. Upon inspection, the kit had one strand of ground that was missed and inserted into the reverse input or output(I forget) I yanked it out and BOOM, problem solved. Put it all back in and no issues thus far. Heading out for a roadtrip this week and hopefully all is good. I asked both trail grid pro and the anytime customer service but when it came down to it they both didn't respond after a couple emails... I learned a lot here lol... So if your having a black screen or glitchy pic the problem could be from a strand of ground into the relay connections or bad sauder and ground separation. Probably sounds confusing but maybe it could help someone who doesn't want to waste a ton of time and may get lucky. Im sure if I had a shop install it would have been a pain to figure this out. I had one audio shop try to fix the connection at the relay but that was a waste of $50, next a notable Offroad overlanding shop wanted $155 to redo it with parts from both kits...im glad I gave it one more shot and again, who knows if they would've found that hairlike strand of ground that was stuck in the relay connection. Anytime really needs some better QC...

Was this ever resolved? Seeing the same thing on a 2022 offroad after going through 3 relays only thing I can think of is the relay sequence video input wires are wrong? Front camera will only actuate on with the switch when the truck is in reverse. In any other gear the switch for front or rear camera does not turn on ( orange switch lights do turn on), I also get no black screen. Just normal radio screen stays up.
    anytimebackup camera with pre-wired harness

Edit : I got this resolved. My issue was a bad video harness (I did buy the preassembled from TrailGridPro). The orange wire did not have 12v when the switch was in the front position. Brian sent me out a new video harness and I spliced it in, Works perfectly now.
