2020 Quicksand Tacoma Trd

Hi guys, something strange just happened on my truck. Pulling into my driveway with my hazard lights on, I noticed that the indicators on the left side of the truck were not on. In addition to the left side indicators not blinking, the left arrow on my dash wasn’t lighting up either. I shut my lights and tried it again, still with no luck. Strangely enough, I took off the parking brake put the car into gear then back into park and tried again and the indicators worked. Any idea what could be causing this issue?
