Those gosh-darn no-good mIlLenNiAls. :duh: Ruining everything up to and including the reliability of my pickup truck.
    Get off my lawn.

edit, man but I can't help but reluctantly agree.

Ive always enjoyed hearing about the "Initial Quality Awards". It's not a quality or reliability award. It's an award for,"well, it looks nice at the dealer".

I see it at my shop everyday. The older customers just come in for routine service. They drop off the boat for annual service while they go to their doctors appointment. They pick it up and we don't see them until next year. The younger customers bring their boat in for a light that went out. A simple bulb replacement and they complain about it, then want it covered under warranty. They get a small tear in the carpet because their kid couldn't cast and got a hook stuck in it. And they want that covered under warranty, and then get loud when you tell them warranty will not cover that.
Its crazy working at a place that you see the difference in generations everyday.

Yup. I've heard it covers like the first three weeks. ONE WOULD HOPE that a new vehicle makes it three weeks without noticeable defect. What a joke.

Why? This forum is chock full of "mature" man-babies fussing about the plastichrome bumpers, the revs of the 3.5L engine on hills, the way the grille looks, the way JD Powers touched them ----- waaaaaaaah..

I give JD Power and Associates a 1/5 for reliability and a 1/5 for value.

I wasn't whining. I was stating facts. It is interesting to me to see how much different each generation is on a daily basis.

Must be the new power seats on the 2020 that is causing the reliability problem.

All do respect, and they may be impartial and bribe-free, but Consumer Reports wouldn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground about much of anything I’ve observed. My Father-In-Law has bought me a Christmas gift subscription to that rag of magazine for the last 10+ years, and they are absolutely clueless. Looks and feels are all they go by. Buyer beware on anything they recommend.
