FULL 3 in OMU SUSPENSION LIFT OMU upper control arms Carrier bearing upgrade that came with kit Diff drop that came with kit
Hello, I am having an issue with a vibration when driving my truck. I have a OMU 3in suspension lift kit, OMU upper control arms, carrier bearing up grade that came with kit, diff lowering parts that came with the kit. What do I need to check or do? Also, side question about proper alignment for this lift. Does anyone have alignment specifications?

Problems started about a few weeks after lift was installed. Also, I have two other vehicles that I change out driving through the week. It was probably 100 miles after lift.

Rotate tires to see if the vibes move.

Identify whether its a rear or a front vibe.

If its rear, play with axle shims/ carrier drop to see if it changes in any way.

Next, start looking at all of the bushings.

    Rotate the tires
Double check every nut and bolt touched during the install of the lift
Have the wheel alignment checked I'd start there.

Does it do it just rolling down the street, braking, taking off?

ECGS bushing to replace your needle bearing in the front diff. That would be my guess

Did you take it to an alignment shop after you put on the lift?

Totally agree to check for loose bolts. Carrier bearing can definitely cause a shake too, if it’s loose.

If the alignment doesn’t work and your tires are in good condition, I would also say it’s probably the needle bearings.

I had the same issue and went with the ECGS bushing and it’s super smooth now.

My guess, you replaced too many oem parts with too many aftermarket parts...

Probably the bushing. Easy way to tell is turn on 4wd and see if the vibration goes away.

Rear differential shims. Rule of thumb 1 degree per inch of lift.

Truck does it during driving only. I have redone alignment twice and rebalanced tires/rotated tires twice. It was a little better but I still feel the same vibration. I don’t feel it in the steering wheel, only in the floor.

What speed does the vibration happen?

My initial thoughts are angles between the front and rear of the drive shaft. Ideally they should be within 0.5deg of each other. The other possible reason I can think of is a axle bearing in the front.

Anything more than a 2" lift is risking problems.
