Finally reached a point in my career that allowed me to purchase a Tacoma. When I had to purchase used vehicles, Tacoma’s were still too expensive due to high resale value. New position at work came with vehicle allowance, so I purchased a brand spanking new 2020 Tacoma TRD off-road. It did not come with the standard TRD upgrade (lift, tires, interior goodies, running boards). It did come with a manual transmission though, which was the goal.
When my stock tires require replacing I want to get the 3” lift and get the largest tires I can. It’s got the standard gray and natural metal wheels. Anyone know what the maximum tire size these wheels will accept?

Congrats on the new truck! 265 75 16 tires are the biggest you can run without a lift or doing a cab mount chop. 275s 70s are actually smaller. Anything over 33s will require serious modification and you will break shit, these truck don’t handle large tires very well without serious money and upgrades, regearing and stronger steering rack.
