2020 TRD Pro army green

I’m really liking the green more and more

 

Correct. I work in an Army Aviation Facility and all of the 60's and 72's here are Green...and much darker than the "Army Green" on this truck. If it was parked next to one of our 60's, it would likely have a yellowish/puke green look to it.
It is very close in color to one of the shades of green in the OCP however it seems...

 

I like the color & those wheels look great. The headlights are just a bit much, to Fast & Furious looking with the TRD Pro lettering in them.

Weren't their class A uniforms green all the way until 2015?? Thought "Army Green" referred to those, and/or the classic green Willy's Jeeps used by the army for WW2. Either way seems more like a pop culture reference, but it does appear to be founded on legitimate historical use of the color by the army.

 

That is the weirdest leap in logic I've heard in a while and not even sure where it came from. I'm not a fan of those steps either, but c'mon man...

 

I mean they are called predator steps, predator, pedophile. same same.

 

Called "Predator" has extra low step for children. Makes sense to me.

Also any of you Dingbats talking trash about the color not being like the US army, have you considered the fact that this is a JAPANESE car, and they have an army as well?

Makes sense but naturally when most people think of “Army” they naturally think of the greatest fighting force in the universe which is of course the US Army.

Its kind of silly to assume a car designed and built in japan (original color on FJ) by the Japanese would be referring to some other countries army when naming it "Army Green"

As a former soldier, I’m just having a little fun at the expense of our jar head brethren. But yes I agree with you.

 

I mean it IS the greatest, but other people have armies too, and the trees they wanna blend into are also green.
