2020 TRD Pro Raptor lights

I tried the same row as you have there and the arms on the lights were just a tad short. I ordered from YotaGarage and Tacoma Beast, neither fit. I’m assuming they get them from the same supplier, they looked identical. I’ll try the R4T ones.

 

I have the same problem with them not clipping in. Did you ever figure out a work around?

 

I didn't have to do any trimming. They fit in perfectly.

 

It was a quick and easy mod to install while doing the Caliraised hidden light bar. I wired mine up to an oem style switch in the cab.

While as an enhancement it’s pretty negligible. The best part is that half the Tacoma guys hate them and ALL of the Raptor guys hate them.

 

Lol why do people who do not like this look inevitably make their presence known? Who cares it's their truck let them do what they want.

 

Are they on a separate switch or has someone figured out a way to trigger them off of the drl’s?

I would guess a relay connected to the drl’s would work to turn them on.

 

Is that camera oem?

 

Dot requirements for a raptor, a dressed up f150, do tell.

 

I think Running4tacos has a harness designed by Meso customs.

I just wanted to use a switch so that I can control them independently.

 

The lights are to satisfy DOT requirements, no other reason, due to the width of the vehicle, same as the new TRX, its comical when other trucks run them.

 

Any vehicle over 80" wide is required to have marker lights. Typically placed on the top of the cab, Ford opted for the grill of the Raptor to be unique.

 

Exactly, when you look closely at the third brake light on Raptors same thing it is 3 leds integrated to satisfy as well.

 

I never even thought that the raptor was close to being that wide.

I guess opinions can be comical too =P Nothing wrong with wanting it for cosmetics.
I was considering doing it for the looks too, but want to do it on the top row without cutting into the plastic. I was thinking of going outside the kits and trying to use thinner smoked amber lights. If I go that route I'll try and post pics/vids

So so the lights mess with the front cam at night. Like leave a halo? Does it help with the cam by giving more light?
