I'm gonna do it! 80 series is going up for sale...GX470 is going up for sale. Tacoma TRD Pro in Super White is the successor. Tell me why I shouldn't do it. Been awhile since I've visited this site. You guys still bitchin about this and that? Seems like a good truck...talk me out of it like it was 2016 again.

How does one upgrade a Pro? Isn't a Pro the apex of off-road badassness?

I’d keep the GX470. The 80 series is dog fucking ugly can’t look at that thing no matter how capable it is.

There's lots of stuff you can do. Get an absolutely ridiculous bumper with a winch for starters.

The Fox shocks that come on it are good and all, but they ain't anywhere near a set of real performance coilovers like the King or ADS brands

It’s on the ugliest vehicles made list. Just my opinion.

A lot of people don’t like the Defender but I think it’s cool. Whatever you like.

What about when McDonald's forgets your honey mustard sauce? Surely you bitch about that no? And teen pregnancy or substance abuse...wouldn't you talk someone of of that? Different crowd I guess...

Buy it then lower it... EBay coilovers from a no name brand.

Keep in mind, there’s a lot of things most SUVs will never do that a truck does. Move an upright refrigerator or most household appliances including washing machine, dryer and oven, king mattress and box springs, 4 X 8 sheets of plywood, 3 motorcross bikes, a yard of mulch/stones/manure/anything.

Hmmm...buy a Pro then lower? I am a fan of lowest COG possible with flex/stuff/artic/wheel size considerations, but this seems counter productive...not sure of the reasoning here.
